Hi Everyone, what a wonderful day for this years Kid’s Christmas Break-Up. Under blue sunny skies we had over 250 parents and kids attend throughout the day which was a great turnout for the big draw card, Santa and his Elves !!
Volunteers started arriving before 7am to ensure everything was up and running before excited kids and families arrived, sign-on table, canteen, BBQ and smoke oven, jumping castles, tracks, parking areas and amenities were ready for a big day, it was looking flasher than a rat with a gold tooth…
On arrival Mums and dads were busy signing on, unloading bikes and getting the kids into their riding gear while some just headed straight for the jumping castles. It wasn’t long before the tracks were busy with kids doing lap after lap and enjoying the day and just getting on their bikes and riding, how goods that !!

The tracks were closed at 1pm and lunchtime was upon us, snags, hamburgers and smoked beef and chicken rolls were on the menu. The girls behind the food counter was kept busy as were the BBQ “Chefs” keeping up the supplies. To keep the kids going the slushy and popcorn machines opened up and were very popular in the warm afternoon sun.

(Not presented in 2020 due to Covid lockdowns). The recipient for 2020 being Matthew Belcher and 2021 going to Hayden Allen. Both being valued young club members over many years and deserving for their improved riding abilities along with time given to the club as volunteers at the McGregor Rd Track. On behalf of the KWR&DMCC congratulations to both Matthew and Hayden and looking forward to your ongoing support.
