Back in early November discussions were held at the track on what to do with the long grass around the McGregor Rd property leading up to the Kids Christmas Party.

(Our mobile lawn mowers, edge trimmers and fertilisers (cattle) had been removed from the property some time earlier and the grass had now become a problem)

Out of those discussions it was suggested that with all that grass maybe it could be baled and the hay donated to a good cause in our drought affected area’s. And so it happened……

A massive thanks to all involved and especially Colin Plant, Jim Gee, David Bowman and Pakenham Lions Club’s “Need for Feed” initiative for making it all happen !
